Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2026 Limited Edition Aged 11 Years is the 26th release in the distillery’s highly allocated annual series honoring founder George Garvin Brown, who was born on September 2, 1846. The 2026 expression was barreled in 2015 and assembled from 212 barrels matured together for 11 years the third floor of Warehouse B, the oldest aging warehouse the Brown-Forman Distillery in Shively, Kentucky.
The whiskey entered its new charred oak barrels at 124.4 proof, slightly below Old Forester’s customary 125 barrel-entry proof. Bottled at 97 proof, the finished bourbon presents a balanced profile of honey, caramel, cherry, baking spice, and toasted oak.
