The whiskey is then transferred into a remarkable 50-year-old Cognac foeder, where it undergoes secondary solera-style aging. Each year, only a portion of the whiskey is drawn off and the vessel is replenished with newly Cognac-finished Four Grain bourbon, creating a continuously evolving spirit with exceptional depth and character.
