I chose to start my journey into higher proof bourbon with Rare Breed and couldn’t be happier. Lots of brown sugar and toffee notes with hints of tobacco and leather on the finish. The more you get into it cinnamon and cherry start to stand out all with a surprisingly smooth finish considering the proof. Glad it’s on my shelf!
