The origin of its rich and elegant flavor stems from its maturation in American White Oak casks, which although seasoned with Bourbon, have not previously been used to mature Scotch whisky so the sweetness is more intense. Our distillers were fans of using these types of cask in the early 1900s so it’s a tradition we’re proud to keep alive.
