To create our limited Barrel Reserve Edition of Espanita Reposado, we age our 100% Agave tequila in American White Oak casks first and then maturation process continues for another 2 to 4 months in freshly emptied Bourbon barrels sourced from Kentucky bourbon producers. Extended aging process and exposure to two different kinds of wood mellows the spirit, enriches tequila’s flavor profile and results in aromatic Double Barrel aged Reposado tequila with satiny body defined by the sweetness of toasted oak and prodigiously long, fascinating finish.
