I LOVE Weller special Reserve! The funny thing is, it’s not really considered a “Top Shelf” bourbon. Here in Southern Arizona Weller’s is not an in stock shelved item, so I rarely miss an opportunity to have some sent in via Sip Whiskey! The Special Reserve has a mellow, sweet taste, I like it!!

Weller has always been my go to. I prefer the 12 year Weller over the 12 year Pappy. Green label Weller is my favorite daily sipper. I save the 12 year for special occasions and the full proof for long days at the office.

Weller Special Reserve is by far one of my favorites! It meets quite a few benchmarks for me…all in one bottle. It’s not readily available in my area so when I DO get my hands on a bottle, I savor it! The right amount of heat (90 proof) so I can enjoy it neat, just a hint of sweet and oh so Mello. By far the best wheated bourbon I’ve tasted. It’s also easy on the wallet and with Sip’s low shipping, it’s an easy choice.
