Reposado tequila is a type of tequila that has been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two months and up to one year. The aging process gives the tequila a golden color and a smoother, more complex flavor than unaged tequila (Blanco).
Reposado Tequila is typically smoother and more complex than Blanco Tequila, with notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. It's also often sipped neat or on the rocks and can be used in cocktails like margaritas and palomas.
