Crown Royal Single Malt Canadian Whisky

$59.99

Our Canadian roots have always set our whiskies apart from the rest. Crown Royal Single Malt is a true rarity from The Great North. A Crown Royal first, our exceptional single malt is expertly crafted in the crisp Canadian coldness at our Valleyfield Distillery. Layers of delicate flavor are extracted as the aging process slows due to the northern chill, resulting in a deliciously smooth whisky with hints of creamy vanilla and a smooth cinnamon spice finish. A cold process, a warm finish, and the uncompromising standards of Crown Royal.

Single malt

I’ve drank nothing but crown royal since the early nineties during my military service and to this day I still have a crown and coke every evening for a night cap, with that being said the single malt is one of the best flavors so far

It depends...

I was excited to taste this most recent offering. After reading the description and reviews, I was expecting a more rounded whiskey with the classic smoothness of Crown, but instead got... a rye. If you enjoy the harshness of ryes, you may enjoy this offering - it has the textbook bite but lacks the sting. That, however, is not what I've come to appreciate about the brand. I made one drink and gave the bottle to a friend.

Harsh

Has the taste and finish of a rye. Not the same degree of burn, but a smooth whiskey like I was expecting. Taste it at a bar before you drop your $50 on it, I'm very disappointed.
